From April 21 to 23, 2011, Heaven forfend!, a new play by Remy L. Overkempe, performed by VU University Amsterdam's theatre company FUNEST, had a successful theatrical run at CREA Theater in Amsterdam.

Heaven forfend! is a two-act play about accountability, religious belief, and absurdism. It featured a leading cast of Lenette Vlasman as Julie, Peter van de Velde in the role of Vinci, and Thomas van Hout playing a hysterical Ireul.
